Charles Wisniewski, MS, DO
Dr. Wisniewski received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA and a master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Boston University. He received his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and was Chief Resident during his Adult Psychiatry Residency training at Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training at Jefferson University College of Medicine. He is board certified in Adult as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine and works with adolescents at Main Line Health Outpatient Clinic. He also works with JFCS, a non-profit organization that provides mental health and social services to the Greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Wisniewski specializes in social media use disorder, problematic internet use and sleep disorders. Some of his work on internet use disorders was published in the book, Beyond the Primal Addiction. Dr. Wisniewski has experience working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis centers, outpatient clinics, as a hospital consultant, and as a lecturer. He has enjoyed his time at many different schools and programs in the city of Philadelphia and surrounding areas speaking with students/parents/teachers about a number of different mental health topics including sleep, social media/internet addiction, mood disorders and more.
